Flaming is the process of passing plastic containers such as tubes or bottles through a controlled flame to prepare the surface for printing. This step removes microscopic dust, oils, and particulate matter while also lightly heating the surface. The result is improved ink adhesion during silk screen printing, especially on materials like polypropylene (PP) and HDPE.
